MiniArt continues their releases of the P-47 line of aircraft.

The advanced kit form of the P-47 appears again in a new theatre. The cockpit is pleasing, and for anyone who hasn't seen it before, it comes as a tub, meaning you can do all the detailing outside the aircraft body, making it easier to achieve the result you want. The panel lines are extremely well tackled, and for the shading modeller out there, you can achieve very nice detail. I will not lie, this is not the easiest model to work on, not because it is a bad kit but because it is extremely detailed and people like myself with fat fingers will struggle. Anyone with photo etch phobia is advised to consider very carefully if the advanced releases of the P-47 from MiniArt is for them. MiniArt replicates the radial engine particularly well in these releases, and showing the cowling off the model is definitely worth considering. In addition to the aircraft's offensive firepower, MiniArt provides you with air-to-ground rockets. Drop tanks of various types and a bomb load of your choice. I prefer the model assembled clean, with only a drop tank. All told, from what I have been told, overheard and observed, MiniArt has a particularly well-designed and detailed aircraft that they can alter as desired.
