January sees Guideline Publication releasing number 128 in their Warpaint series and this time it’s the turn of the Bristol Scout

Coming in January - due to the author's ongoing indisposition the scheduled Warpaint release on the L-29 Delfin has been put back. Instead, we have Matt Willis' superb volume on the Bristol Scout. I've just been reading through proofs and it's an absolute belter!Very thorough coverage of this important milestone in fighter development with a superb collection of illustrations, walkaround, scale plans and profiles by John Fox.

Matt's previous contribution to 'Warpaint' was the Sopwith Pup, but he's widely published elsewhere, with some excellent books on classic British subjects including the Blackburn Shark and the Skua/Roc.

Once again Warpaint offer an authoritative book on asubject long-overdue the coverage. With 1/72 kits from MAC Distribution readily available, those old Aeroclub kits in your stash, and the Gavia 1/48 kits still in circulation if you look around, it's an essential addition to any WWI collection - and very much deserving of a 1/32 tooling. Roden? Anyone?
