ResKit has released a Landing Gear Set for the Great Wall Hobby 1:72 scale A-10A/C Thunderbolt II

New A-10A/C landing gear set for GWH 1/72 kit

Update 24 introduces a hybrid Metal + 3D-printed undercarriage set for the 1/72 Great Wall Hobby A-10A/C Thunderbolt II, covering both early and late gear configurations in a single package.

RSU72-0317 — A-10A/C Thunderbolt II landing gear set (early and late) with weighted wheels

The Warthog’s undercarriage is a defining feature of the airframe: the main gear is housed in the distinctive nacelle pods, and the aircraft sits low and heavy on the ramp. At 1/72, stock plastic gear legs are prone to bending under the weight of the finished model, and the wheels rarely convey the sense of load the real aircraft shows. This set addresses both points.

Metal gear legs provide the strength needed to carry the model reliably over time, while the 3D-printed components capture fine detail that injection moulding struggles to reproduce at this scale. Weighted wheels replicate the natural tire deformation of a heavy aircraft at rest, adding realism to the finished stance.

Because the set covers both early and late configurations, you can match the gear to the specific airframe and period you are depicting.
