Building the better Super Hornet in scale – with the new MASTER F/A-18 E/F/G sets - Part 1

Most of the details aficionados invested his money for many upgrades of the kit’s cockpits. But when they finished his models, most of these upgrades are hardly visible. For use more important are small details, they are always visible on the „ready to modelling shows” miniatures. The next examples of our philosophy are the new sets for F/A-18 E/F/G Super Hornets. See pictures for more details!

On all Super Hornet kits one detail will be always visible – AoA probes. Due to limitation of the technology, kits AoA probes usually look’s more like plastic „blobs’ than the real items. But now we presented the new MASTER sets designed for the F/A-18 E/F/G kits. Two types are already available – and here we presented the early AoA type. In each set You’ll find 3-D printed resin bases & turned metal AoA probes.

You can add metal parts after painting & finishing all markings! Ask in Your favourite hobby shop for the MASTER early type AoA probes – available in 3 major scales! For 1/32 scale kit – You’ll need MASTER AM-32-138, for 1/48 scale perfect will be MASTER AM-48-170 set, and for 72 scale perfect will be MASTER AM-72-156 set!

All preparation for installation of the MASTER set will be drilling the hole in the kit’s fuselage. Check the instruction sheet for correct drill bit diameter! For the easy assembly You can slightly ream the hole using circular file. Assembly of the resin base into the kit’s fuselage will be much easier!
