Arguably one of the very best Italian WW2 fighter aeroplanes, even though there were only slightly less than fourty of them built in 1943. And yet the type saw some action in the colours of three operators, the Regia Aeronautica, Aeronautica Nazionale Republicana as well as the Luftwaffe.
