The first Me 262 A-1a 1/72 test shots have arrived! 

The kit is getting very close to completion — we’re now reviewing the sprues and refining the final details before the pre-order starts.

Right away it’s clear that the quality of the initial shots is very promising. Most details have come out crisp and sharp, surfaces are clean and smooth, and the overall look of the model matches exactly what we aimed for during the design phase.

We are especially pleased with:

• the thin, scale-accurate tail surfaces,
• the wing slats,
• the sharp and convincing panel lines.

What still needs refinement?

As with any first test shots, it’s perfectly normal to find areas that need adjustment. We identified, among other things:

• a few details that we want to make slightly more pronounced,
• some elements where pins will be added or refined,
• typical early-stage flash and short shots resulting from initial mold settings.
