New F-16C cockpit sets for the Tamiya kit
Update 24 adds two new 1/48 scale cockpit options for the Tamiya F-16C Block 50/52 Fighting Falcon, giving modelers a choice between full scratch-level detail and a faster, decal-based upgrade — both correcting the simplified structure of the kit's stock tub.
Detailed edition — RSU48-0665
A fully 3D-printed cockpit replacement covering the instrument panel, side consoles, ejection seat, and structural sidewall detail. Built for modelers planning an open canopy or bare-cockpit display, where every switch, gauge, and panel line is visible and needs to hold up to close inspection.
Basic edition — RSU48-0666
A streamlined alternative using 3D-printed structure paired with included 3D decals for the instrument panel and consoles. This edition delivers a significant accuracy improvement over the kit part with a considerably shorter build time — a practical option when the canopy will be closed or the cockpit isn't the build's focal point.
Both sets are direct, drop-in replacements for the Tamiya kit tub, requiring no resin-to-plastic fitting work beyond standard prep.
