The models of the Allison-engined Mustang fighters first appeared on the market manufactured by Accurate Miniatures and now they have been reboxed by Academy. While the model itself is rather nice with adequate surface detail, its cockpit area leaves much to be desired. And this is where our cockpit set comes handy. And what is more, there are also photo etches included.
This also applies to the radiator/oil cooler area, and this is where our superbly detailed resin cast set improves the matter greatly. The set consists of a new bulkhead with the circular engine radiator with the oil cooler incorporated, new walls of air trunk, fluid pipes and a new air outlet flap.
