Bombcat March Release

A new kit for Tomcat fans is the release in March 2026 by Fine Molds of the 1:72 scale Grumman F-14A Tomcat™ Bombcat with markings for the Black Knights and the Tophatters


This kit recreates the markings of VF-154 (aka the Black Knights) immediately after it returned to Japan from Afghanistan in 2003. It returned to the United States shortly after being upgraded to the F/A-18F, but its appearance remains memorable to many fans as "the last F-14 seen in Japan." The bomb rack under the fuselage has been added as a new part.
