Special Hobby have released comprehensive set in their CMK range to convert Airfix's 1:72 Beaufighter into the Merlin-engined Mk.II.

The Bristol Beaufighter twin-engine fighter of all versions, save one, was fitted with Hercules radial power plants. The only version which was not is the Mk.II as it was fitted with R&R Merlins. Besides British squadrons, these aircraft flew with Polish, Canadian, Czechoslovak and Australian units and pilots. Our set brings the conversion parts enabling you to turn your Beaufighter model into the early exhaust style fitted machine. The set also contains decals with markings for three RAF airframes.

Set #7489 is available from Special Hobby now - Price: 25.90 Euros
