1/144 XB-70

The Armory models kit is not perfect, quite a few small problems  that can be easily remedied with a bit of putty and a razor blade , but the end result is a very imposing model of this iconic plane.The all white color scheme is never an easy affair , and i was tempted to go for a "what if" colorful camo scheme  but maybe the next one.The figures and the Cadillac are 3d printed by me and placed as to give a better sense of the relative size of the XB-70...........................................Kostas

A new breed of kits with 3d printed, photo etch and plastic parts  albeit with some issues on fit mainly.If you like the XB-70 this however might still  be a lot less work that the known 1/72 scale kit from Italeri.
