An incredible build of one of Britain's iconic helicopters Westland Wessex H.A.S. 1 Royal Aircraft Establishment in the raspberry ripple colour from modelling friend Albert Grzywa A&AEE Boscombe Down and RAE Farnborough. It did tropical trials in Libya (pre-Gadhaffi), icing trials back at Westland and spent some time up the French Alps for altitude trials - but I think all that lot was before 1962/3. after that (RAE again).
