This is a C-2 ejection seat for the F-104 Starfighter, fitted for the Kinetic kits. (Note: the seat CAN be fitted to Hasegawa cockpits too, the overall size and geometry work. However, the Hasegawa side consoles are much lower than Kinetic's so the top of the seat bucket is high in relation).
The highly detailed seat comes complete with ejection rails, part of the canopy de-mister tubing (with canopy latch) and a new aft canopy "V" brace. The seats differ in harness setup, belt lock, emergency pack, drogue housing and other detail. Each seat has a unique combination of harness and hose draping.
Based on a 3D scan of a real 1:1 seat, we tried to cover as many subvariants of this widely used ejection seat. Please select from four different types, depending on operator and timeframe: Standard original USAF (as well as RCAF and other early exports), NATO European export (such as Luftwaffe, KLu etc.), JASDF and the upgraded, later type S/R-2, as used by the USAF, for example in advanced training at the Test Pilot School.
