Eduard have released a set of Brassin Vickers guns to replace the styrene parts in their new-tool Sopwith Camel.

While the kit guns aren’t bad, they simply can’t compare with these new resin upgrades. Each gun comprises a pair of beautifully detailed parts along with a photo-etched cocking lever and a choice of sights. Casting is flawless in the sample set, and the resin parts will be quick and straightforward to prepare.

The new guns are a drop-in replacement for the kit versions, so there’ll be no need to modify the mounts.

As usual with Eduard sets, there’s a clear set of instructions included, and the guns look straightforward to build.

Conclusion

The finished Brassin guns will look much better than the styrene originals and are well priced for the level of extra detail they offer. The quality of the casting and relative simplicity should make them suitable for anyone with a bit of experience working with resin and etched parts.

Set #648660 is available now from Eduard, Price: £2.63.
