The kit was originally released as a new tool by Spójnia in 1990 [Scalemates] and subsequently released by Mirage Hobby. This edition has extra parts

History: In the interwar period the R.W.D.-8 training-liaison aircraft was the most popular Polish aeroplane. Among the aeroplanes designed in Poland it was that type of aircraft which had been produced in the greatest number. The version of the aircraft produced by PWS (Podlaska Wytwórnia Samolotów) differed in many details from the version produced by DWL. The RWD-8 PWS and found application in the military training; they served also for liaison purposes. In 1939 the Polish Air Force had at its disposal 349 pieces of the RWD-8 aircraft, In the units of the line thee aircrafts were used for liaison purposes. After the end of the September 1939 campaign more than hundred RWD-8 aeroplanes were found outside the territory of Poland: 57 aircrafts were in Romania, 40 – in Latvia a flew in Germany, two – in Hungary and also two – in Finland...
