This 'book' is pure content, from inside the front cover to the back, there is very little by way of text; instead there are line drawings (1/72) of the Hog in flight (wheels up), and landed (wheels down), from port and starboard, there is also a front view, and views of the fuselage sans wings and tailplanes, and the underneath, too.
There are several colour profiles, and this is the read strength of the book. Each profile comes with a caption giving the time period, unit information, location where applicable, and colours of the camo.
The best of these is the four views of the JAWS scheme from 1977, pages 8, 9.
There are some Desert Storm profiles with detail of specific markings used, these aircraft are in the standard European camo of green and gray.
To the end, there is a four view profile of the Hog in a green, gray, white scheme as seen in Alasca circa 1982.
The book concludes on page 16 with the Polish translations of the captions for the colour profiles.
A short read but a great reference on the Hog, with some great colour profiles to provide some inspiration on building a scale Hog, the line drawing providing good reference for accuracy.
Easily recommended to Hog modelers or those interested in this highly capable, yet ugly, tank buster.
Thank you MMP and Casemate for the review sample, it will be put to good use.
