Roy Sutherland has announced a quintet of new resin and 3D-printed upgrade sets in 1:72.

Barracuda Studios is proud and excited to announce the latest batch of new products.

We are continuing to develop our 3D printing capabilities, and the majority of new products are 3D printed in gray resin. For the modeller this new medium offers some real advanntages for some types of parts. For other parts, such as wheels, our yellow tan cast resin is a better material. Both are excellent mediums to reproduce super detailed and accurate upgrade parts for your model kits.

This batch of new parts focuses heavily on 1/72nd subjects, as they have been a bit neglected of late. If 1/48th is your scale, we have new sets coming soon for you.

BR72451 Spitfire Vb/Vc Corrected Spinners (Airfix)

This set consists of accurate and detailed 3D printed de Havilland and Rotol spinners to replace the inaccurate Airfix kit spinners. The kit Rotol spinner is far too long, and the de Havilland Spinner is too bulbous. A simple drop fit replacement that will make a real improvement in your model. Designed for the new tool Airfix Mk. BR72488 Fw 190A-6 thru A-9, F, D Mainwheels - Ribbed

This set contains a pair of accurate resin mainwheels with ribbed tires (seen on all 190s until the last few months of the war), solid wheel hubs and detailed tire logo and data.
