The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture).  The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. Material is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

The Mi-24 / Mi-35 are variants of the legendary Hind attack helicopter. The camouflage featured in this set first became famous when was introduced applied on Mi-35P Phoenix. Mi-35 Phoenix is an upgraded Mi-24, elevated to new standards, adequate for the current warfare requirements. It features several improvements over the older Mi-24. Among those are NPPU-23 chin turret with GSh-23L cannon, glass cockpit, digital control system, new targeting system, thermal imager, TV camera and laser rangefinder among many others. Some of the fuselage elements were strengthen as well. Electronic countermeasures are included in the upgrade package. The camouflage can be seen on Mi-35M as well. The latter one is equipped with similar upgrades, but unlike Mi-35P features non-retractable landing gear and significantly shorter wings.

The Mi-35 Digital Camo can be replicated using most Mi-24s on the market, as well as any available Mi-35. Mi-24 is available from Zvezda and Trumpeter in contemporary toolings, as well as some older options in quarter scale. Mi-35P Phoenix is an upgrade of Mi-24, while Mi-35M is more deep modification and separate kit should be used. Standard Mi-24 is not suitable for Mi-35M conversion, only for Mi-35P Phoenix. The most important elements of the Mi-35P Phoenix are the long wings /standard for Mi-24/ and the end-pylons equipment. There are differences in the nose chin features compared to the standard Mi-24. Those include the GSh-23L cannon, the NPPU-23 turret and the OPS-24N laser targeting system. The latter one can be seen on both – Mi-35P and Mi-35M. Mi-35M features shorter wings and different undercarriage. It also has X-shaped tail-rotor. For proper conversion of Mi-24, reference materials are needed. For Mi-35M, camouflage can be used as it is, even though the M variant features shorter wings. This set design is based on Mi-24 to cover the longer span of the Mi-35P.
