LFG Roland D.III – 1/32 Scale Resin Model Kit (ABS‑Like Resin, Steel‑Reinforced Wings)

The LFG Roland D.III is a highly detailed 1/32 scale 3D‑printed resin model kit, designed for modelers who demand accuracy, strength, and historical authenticity. The kit includes 50 precision‑printed ABS‑Like resin parts and one vacuum‑formed clear canopy, ensuring crisp detail and a realistic appearance.

Construction & Materials

To guarantee long‑term durability and perfect alignment, all major load‑bearing components are reinforced with 1.2 mm steel rods:

• Wing structure
• Horizontal stabilizer
• Landing gear assembly

This internal reinforcement provides exceptional rigidity and prevents warping over time — a key advantage for large WWI biplane models.

The kit comes with:

• Pre‑cut painting masks for national markings and canopy framing
• Painting Masks & Decals Included
  
• A small decal sheet for the technical markings
• This allows for a clean, accurate finish straight out of the box.
•  Build Options – Two Historical Variants

The Roland D.III kit includes parts and markings for two distinct aircraft:

• Bulgarian Air Service – 1st Aeroplane Detachment, flown by Todor Rogev
• German Service – aircraft from an unknown aviation unit, represented with period‑correct markings

These options give modelers the choice between a rare Bulgarian WWI subject or a classic German variant.
