From friend Harry T. Ji and his fantastic take on The F-15E Strike Eagle at Seymour Johnson Air Base The F-15E was first delivered to the U.S. Air Force operational units in 1988. The F-15E reached initial operational capability on 30 September 1989 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina with the 4th Tactical Fighter Wing, 336th Tactical Fighter Squadron.
