Fischkopp Model Company is developing a 3D print of the DB 605 Engine in both 1:32 and 1:24 scales

DB 605 Engine Project – Final Development Update (1/32)

The DB 605 engine project is approaching its final stage.

Shown here are two CAD views alongside three images from the latest test print, representing the current state of development. While the engine is not yet fully completed, its overall structure and level of detail are now clearly established.

This project is being developed with a clear objective: to become the most detailed DB 605 engine available, setting a new benchmark in scale fidelity. At least one feature will be incorporated that has never been represented before in any previous release.

Particular attention should be paid to the starter actuator control rod. Although subtle and difficult to discern on the printed test parts, it is present and accurately reproduced — a small detail that reflects the philosophy behind this project.

This will be the final update before the engine is released as a stand-alone version in 1/32 and 1/24 scale, with the release planned for late January.

Following this release, development will continue with the dedicated components for the Kotare Messerschmitt Bf 109 K installation set.

Best regards

Chris
