Third decal in our series dedicated to Saudi Lightnings — this time it's the F.52, a variant delivered exclusively to Saudi Arabia. In fact, it’s based on the F.2 (not to be confused with the F.2A, which looks very similar to the F.6). The F.52 is recognizable by its small belly tank and triangular fin.
These aircraft were delivered under the “Magic Carpet” program and flown by British pilots. They were originally intended to take part in the conflict with Yemen.
