This multi media model kit is based on (and includes) the 1/72 scale Academy F-86F Sabre kit and includes the Red Roo Avon Sabre fuselage and slatted wing resin conversion, along with resin Firestreak missiles, launching rails, pylons and decals. A full set of decals for the trials aircraft is provided, including all the stencils! Various metal and plastic parts are also included. A full colour comprehensive instruction booklet, lavishly illustrated with extensive photos, technical drawings and colour profiles provides a step by step construction guide. A 1/72 scale template is provided to aid in correctly locating the wing pylons.
Because this model kit brings together plastic, resin and metal components and the construction involves some complex assembly tasks using a variety of glues it is suitable only for experienced modellers.
