Review
This release from MiniArt arrives in a cardboard tray with a separate card lid. Inside the sprues are packaged in a single plastic bag. On examination there are no moulding issues present. The Marston Mat comes in injection moulded plastic form, no assembly is required and the overall dimensions of the mat itself is roughly 12.5inches by 9inches. The barrels included in the release are supplied on 3 identical sprues and give you 6 of 2 types - 1 the normal barrel with the ribs a third of the way in from each end, and the alternate barrels again have the ribs a third of the way from each end, but also have additional ribbing in the top and bottom quadrants. The lids are detailed, having a breather and extraction hole and if you wish each of the sprues also has a hand operated pump and a nozzle - you just need to add the tubing in-between. A decal sheet has been included, and provides you with a number of options with regards to stencil detail on the barrels. A grid pattern on the underside of the base works to prevent warping of it.
