1/700 scale airfield scenes
Kostas brings us yet another scene from the preparation for 1991's Operation Desert Storm. Here we see a group of C-5 Galaxies loading armoured vehicles while a pair of C-141 Starlifters await their turn.

I'm guessing 1/700

Yes, it's 1/700. Kostas does stuff in that scale that many of us can't achieve in 1/48.

Excellent work Kostas. The scenery especially looks very real. One tiny detail you seemed to have missed though; the Galaxy has a 'kneeling' nose undercarriage and if I'm not mistaken, the rear loading ramp is not used when the nose ramp is in operation. Otherwise, its awesome work!

Awesome work Kostas. You get a great sense for the massive size of these aircraft. Are these from the Skywave kits?
