The Douglas A-26 Invader entered service with the USAAF in late 1944. It served through the Korean War and into the Viet Nam War with the USAF. This effective ground attack bomber is on display at the War Eagles Air Museum in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Dozens of the museum displays can be viewed in the expanding War Eagles Air Museum Gallery.
