"Flyboys" DVD collectors series...200,000 units sold the first day. In the features on Disc 2 please note that I did indeed castigate the Lafayette Foundation prez. Andy Parks for saying Iroqous in stead of Seminole. Also the models in the display boxes are my builds. I think the Lucas people did a great job of showing off our main hangar. Yes, the Fokker E.V is almost finished and can be seen without covering.

Where is that waitress?

Howdy Barkeep! {Jan}

Many thx for stocking some proper bitter, and kudos for having the likes of Mauldon's on tap! But sine you've got Mauldon's, could you check if you have in your stores a keg or two of the 'Adder's

Of course I speak of;

And, for more consumptive moments,

Aside from it being bloody good mead for the workin' man, Ya gotta love a beer maker that pins the name of one of your favourite TV shows on it's label!

BTW......what's scheduled for the 'flicker' show this weekend?

Tread.

After a hard day of rigging biplanes and scratchbuilding wooden props I like to find myself at ye olde Sister Consumpta's Beatnik bar and grill. It seems that our little Aeroscale Chateau has taken on an air of Mardis Gras.

Jan seems to be in the projector room arguing with a stubborn video on 12 O'clock High... His beads got caught in the projector... I don't want to know.

Andy hs just stepped upstairs from the basement rumpas room...looks like he has about 8-9 strings of beads and he's covered in lip stick...I won't ask.

Treadhead is in he corner with a 44oz tumbler of Guiness red. Wasn't he is the same place last night?

I hear Merlin in the back room playing billiards with his newest high fashion model girlfriend...they're playing for articles of clothing and Merlin is down to his socks and boxers...

Jean-Luc has been doing the home thing with his new family... He has made a mobile out of 1/72 scale model aircraft above the baby's crib ...good one Jean-Luc!

Where is Ladymodelbuilder? She was supposed to have finished that 1/28 Revell D.VII... I had to talk her out of the pink and purple polka dots scheme. She was going to call it "das Eastah Aigg."

The juke box is playing "Sometimes all I need is the air that I breath..."

Wow! What a night...as I saunter off to my rack I recount the previous night's activities. Rounds were many and rapid in their succession. Everything from Prince Harry to another send off for Anna Nicole Smith...eagads she's been gone for two weeks. Bury her in Burmuda and be done with it.

Nother one of our own, Andy B. has been wetted down for his new post as one fellow put it...Piper "Cub" reporter.

Jan "Black Cat" Bojarp was seen 'angin from the Disco Ball when he did a swan dive to the lower floor levels landing lightly on his feet. To boot he narry spilt a drop of the 30 year single malt he had been balancing on his forhead.

Revelie!!!! I stroll into the Cyber Cafe wearing my Sunday go to meetin - walking out Class A uniform. Even my buttons are polished. I must be the first one in the cafe this AM ... wait there is Jan "Black Cat" Bojarp setting up the buffet.

I'll have my usual. Four egg omlette with cooked ham, cheese and left over Mexican chili (no beans thank you.) Venti, four shot latte, low foam 2% steamed milk, hazelnut flavoring. Medium orange juice, hash browns and Sunday newspaper.

Beetle music playing, pre Sgt Pepper.

I have a stack of tech manuals with me as well. I'm a big GVW fan.
Fokker D.VII Anthology 1-3
Fokker D.VII Aces of WWI part 1 & 2
Jagdgeschwader Nr.I
Jagdgeschwader Nr. II

Starnge noises coming up from the rumpas room and the the sack room is filled with snoring patrons from the previous night's celebrations. Typical Sunday.

Strolling in to the cyber cafe...the juke box cranking Heartless by who else? Heart. 3:51 in the AM and another quiet night. Midnight meal consists of chicken fried steak, hash browns, scrambled eggs smothered in chili with fresh Italian bread. Merlin , Lampie, Jean - Luc, the Andys, even JRatz is here. Whoa! and in the corner of the little gathering head honcho, Jim-Starkweather. Looks like somebody glued their fingers together...won't say who.
