The Enola Gay/Bockscar kit gives a lot of options by the looks of it. Might have to get hold of one of those to build as an RAF Washington.

The Academy kit comes with uncuffed props. Links to reviews of the OP's kit options: "Old Battler" and "Enola Gay/Bokscar" (Note that this kit also includes the proper "Silverplate" cuffed props, making both options available).

For the most part decals will be the difference. One other difference might be the props. Most Korea pics have uncuffed props if I remember right. A lot of WW II planes the props were cuffed. There are probably pics to prove me wrong though.

The main differences were USAF stars and bars (with the red bar in the middle), and usually a black undersurface. The Front upper turret could have been either the familiar round type, or the "teardrop" type more usually associated with the B-50. It looks as though you'll need to rob that one from a B-50 kit if you want it.

There have been several Korean War decal sheets offered for B-29s.

I have two Acad kits coming; Old Battler, and "Enola Gay & Bockscar". The Acad KW B-29s seem a little hard to find. What is the exterior difference between a PTO B-29A and a KW B-29A?
Thanks for any insight
