Hi folks!

I'd like to share my work on a P-40N 1/72 kit by Academy. The nose decals broke apart when I applied it. So I hand painted the shark mouth. I primed the kit with an car-paint rattle can, but did the rest of the paint and varnishing with a paintbrush. Would appreciate any constructive criticism or suggestions. Thanks!

I think the hand painted shark mouth looks great more convincing imho than a decal as these were hand painted in the field on the real aircraft. It certainly looks the part very nice indeed

Nicely done. Much better than my attempt at the same kit for the ANZAC campaign a while back.

Thanks padawan_82 and alves! Really appreciate it Hoping to improve my brushwork on future builds. I have an Aleutian P-40 in the pipeline as well. Might just paint the tiger on that instead of the decals.

Your work is really nice mate! Much cleaner and sharper than mine definitely. I suck at doing those straight lines >_< I like the streaking on the MGs on the wings as well. Was thinking of doing the same on my kit as well.
