All of my stuff had been packed away in bankers boxes while in the hospital. It has been hard to locate the correct box that holds what is needed for certain builds.

Found the Fokker which is further along, but the tail wheel strut had broken off in the box. Finally found the strut, drilled a hole to accept some round sprue so that it could be glued back in place.

I was not able to find the round clear piece that was to be attached in the bottom on the nose, so I used some Micro Krystal Klear.

Good on you Bob, back in the saddle!

I fear that I'm not going to finish this one, too much else going on. But it's nice to see those of you who are! Less than two weeks left, everyone, so get cracking!

Mark, my problem is the rain which is causing my to put off any painting until the moisture level is way down.

Rain? They call this place the WET coast. No I had to shim up the elevators, they were giant gaps between the fixed and moving parts and a cavern between the elevator and the fuselage. To make matters even more untenable, even if there's extension, I'm spending the first two weeks of March in China.

Would an extension help?

Ha Michael!

I just finished telling the wife that I'd be dropping out of the campaign, but finishing the model, only because the time needed would make for a faster end game. I do like how the painting is going, however, it is painfully slow (cockpit glass fit issues really slowed things down).

If you're willing, I'll take it. No promises, but an extension would be welcome.

An extension would give some nice breathing room.

Well, an extension would be wonderful, but I'm out of the country for 2 weeks starting March 2nd. So it would have to be a looooong extension to guarantee that I finish.

An extension would be helpful Michael. I've stalled on the He177 with mask issues they're the vinyl type and curling so I'm losing definition on the glazed surfaces. It's really been rather frustrating as I got the masks to make painting easier!

To heck with it. A one month extension is granted. This campaign will now close on 1 April. Get on it, all (said the guy who won't finish even with the extension)!

Thanks Michael that's great news! I'll take the opportunity to see if I can source some Eduard (or something similar) tape masks to replace the ineffective Montex Ones.

Thank you Mark and Michael. The photos so not show the junk left by the masking when taken off. I dared not to use a cotton swab with some 91% alcohol so I just used a tooth pick (cocktail stick) to smooth out the canopy and clear parts.
