So the nightmare of every modeler is here. I bought a bigger apartment and I have to move Fortunately its only across the town. So what better opportunity to take count of whats in the stash and test the new flickr image account ? 130 have I counted, thats sort of scary considering most of them are realy not easy kits. Barely any 1/72 and quite a few ships too...good thing is most of those kits are top of the line and will not get obsolete for quite some time.

Good luck buddy! I have 600 or so kits at the moment and don't relish the thought of moving them and my modelling supplies at all! In point of fact I'd call it a real nightmare! I hate moving with all it's associated stresses but I can't comprehend living in an apartment, how many floors do you have to lug it all up?

I just retired so I sorted out and inventoried just my ships and I have over 200. Some are new but some are 30 years old

I think the real nightmare is moving completed builds.

Completely agree with the issue with moving completed kits. I have bought huge plastic boxes and filled them with foam and plastic bags. Armour is not a problem since most of it is sitting stable on its wheels or tracks. However planes are different story. So far I have moved maybe 20 pieces and thankfully no damage yet. But I dont know what to do about the shipps. I have only full-hull so completely unstable and delicate rigging. BTW the reason I bought an apartment is that I want to invest the time into the kits, not running around and fixing a house all the time

Haha, I've got 19 boxes in my stash and wife specifically forbid me to buy any new ones until these are gone But then again I live in a coffin-sized apartment of around 30 square meters.
