Hi all.
Wishing you all a profitable 2018.
I've been very on and off lately study, house move, study.
What little time I get at the bench has been on some figures.

However I've started work again on my RNZAF Corsair at a snails pace.

Anyway I was catching up on goings on here and noticed that Chukw has been very silent with his Mig 21.Hope he is ok and its other things getting in the way of build time.

Hello! I am still kickin', thanks for asking. My wife and I had rather long adjustment period to our new lives here on Whidbey Island, Washington. It was nearly a complete reset after 16 years in glorious Southern California! I've put the MiG aside in order to do a build review for Tamiya Modelling Magazine- but it will get finished after that. To top it all off, I'm spending most of my energies on my art career, as bills must be paid, etc. While parts of the freelance lifestyle blatantly suck, it does allow me to live in an interesting place and work at home. As for the article, Marcus did allow a teaser to be posted of my Dornier Do 215 B-5 to posted on the TMMI Facepage page- I promise it will be an interesting read! Again, my warmest thanks- and cheers!

Chuck, Welcome to Washington! We've got a great group of modelers here, and lots of rain too, so you don't have to worry about spending too much time away from the workbench to enjoy the nice weather like you did in California! If you are interested, You should join us at the Museum of Flight on February 17th and 18th for the annual Northwest Scale Modelers Exhibition. That ME 410 you were working on would look great there--perhaps we could even get a peak at your Do 215 too!
VR, Russ

It's good to know you're all good.
Best of luck with the new venture and looking forward to your return to building when the times right.

Cheers

Chris
