Thanks, I didn't notice at the time, but I didn't get the MLG even so it lists strongly to port....

Hi,

F-102 is finally on it's wheels.

I've applied decals and followed with slight overall wash made of Tamiya paneliner brown and homemade wash from VanDyke brown.

I have also started final assembly that ended up with need to repaint some parts I've damaged with glue or by ... mistaking cup with mineral spirit for cup with Tamiya thinner ... oops.

Nevertheless I'm on final now with only few parts left to glue on.

Here's the state at the moment:

Cheers,
Radek

Let's go for this campaign !

I submit for this campaign the F-100D. It would represent a F-100D Hun in vietnam armed with 4 M117 in daisy cutter configuration.

Hi guys,
I'm calling my F-102 done.
There were some small issues at the end with broken pitot tube (like 5 times ), a little crooked wheel or breaking some joints on fuel tanks or missiles... but it's finished.

Images area already in campaign gallery and here are few shots of finished kit:

Thank you for great campaign
Cheers,
Radek

PS. finally some kit completed from scratch to finish in 2017

The sharp eyed amongst you will have noticed part number 9, the exhaust cowling is MIA.

I had started to build the kit before I noticed the missing part.

So I went onto the Revell site to order a replacement part and they will not be dealing with any orders until 17th January!! It then goes on to say it can take up to 8 weeks for the replacement part to arrive.

So I guess i will not be building the Fishbed for this campaign. Plan B then.

Unfortunately there will be no plan B. I am having difficulty finding a suitable kit so I am afraid I will have to withdraw from this campaign. Keep up the good builds guys.

So nice builds in here, guys! As well as the new entries - glad to see this thread alive.

Radek, beautiful looking F-102, great! Congrats for finishing

Franck, good start! Pit looks very fine.

Didn't posted progresses in here for a while since I use the separate build log for my Mirage for more details.
So here's just a quick view of the current status. Stil lot of things to do, but for now the fiddling-styrene-work is mainly over.

Been awhile...

My Su-9 fell to the ground, still fixing it.

Took some time masking the canopy

Hope this week to add all the pylons and antennas and start painting it...

John, been there done that. Your Su-9 is looking good.

Thomas, nice job on the Mirage wheel wells.

Franck, Your F100 is coming along fine. I stayed away from the F100 because of the after burner area until I found some decals for an SEA F100 with the afterburner area painted also, and they arrived today. So I now am able to finish my F100.

Great progresses and work, guys!

Bob, thank you! But all that fiddling work shortens my time frame a lot.

So I'm sure I can't reach the finish line without a (at least) 2-week extension for this campaign.
Anyone else in trouble?

I’ll need the extension since I’ve herniated a disk and cannot finish my F100 Until the pain goes down.

There are a lot of really beautiful airplanes on here, I’ve loved watching each of them go together.
