Take 2 in our coverage. Hot on the heels of Staff_Jim's video report, here's another look at Freedom Models' second kit - the Northrop Tigershark that competed unsuccessfully in the early '80s to become the USAF's primary air defence fighter.

Looks like a worthy kit of an awesome jet. I'll be happy to add this jet to my shelf. Wonder if I can modify a 1/48 jet jockey into a "what if" Fred?

Looking at the bonus decals, I wonder about the ying-yang and the lion decals. Fantasy air force? A Luftwaffe splinter-camo Tigerhaifisch could look amazing.

Anyhow the Lion decals should be mirrored. Pity.

Hi Rowan,
Sorry to be a pain, however you mention New Zealand markings but they don't appear on the sheet shown there are some West Island ones (Australia for you non kiwis).

As we say God made some people perfect the rest he made Australian.😂😂😂😂

Cheers

Cheers Chris

Not a pain at all - thanks for the heads-up.

I could have sworn I spotted Kiwi roundels, but I was losing count after a while.

All the best

Hi everyone,
I supplied the kit and represent Freedom Models.

Glad you like the release. I hope the next aircraft kit we are working on will prove a better hit. We are keen to learn and ready to listen and as we are modellers ourselves, we know how important you all are to our new business.

Fred, Patrick Spitaels (Fox Two) is doing a Luftwaffe splinter version. Check out ANS Modellisme and our own Facebook page.
