Might have to continue under rule 3. There's no way I'm going to finish my Ventura in the Lockheed campaign.

Don't forget a ribbon!

Michael

Can't go past the sexiest Twin that flew in WWII, or ever for that matter.

Here it is in Ribbon GIF format.

LMAO it would have to be the P-61 wouldn't it D? What about the Ta154? It really makes no difference to me D it looks good and in gif form a little harder to identify.

Yes, D and his Black Widows, I guess we're in luck that GM didn't build a twin for WWII or that would be the badge.

I am at a loss why any of you feel the need to question Damian's use of the P-61. It IS, of course, the clear and obvious choice for a twin. (Except, perhaps, for the Mossie. )

Michael, you are obviously a highly intelligent individual with a great sense of style and taste.

Wow, even by Vette standards, that's ugly. Keep the P-61!

That's a sweet looking twin for sure, and a great photo. It is a really good reference pic for exhaust staining as well!

Is that the K variant? No turrets and what I think are longer span wings?

Bump time, 13 enlisted now and thanks to everybody for your interest. Let's post up a few more images and start talking kits folks!
More comments or suggestions for the ribbon welcome as well (except from Mark).

Can we fit Schwarzenneger and Devito on a ribbon?

Nah, no way to fit Arnuld's mug in 50 pixels.

How about a Real B-26?

Liberated this from Wiki, but I can't shrink it to 50 x 20 for anything.

I might have a crack at it tonight, maybe crop the tail and wing tips so the fuselage and power plants are still clear in the ribbon format.

Still not as sexy as a P-61, but it is more representative of a typical WWII twin.

I thought that the B-25 looked a little bit meaner, with the dihedral - anhedral wings, but I haven't found an online drawing. BTW, has anyone considered the P-38, Mossie or Bf-110???

Showing any one plane doesn't really say 'twins'. The Gemini symbol, says twins no matter how you display it.

Just another idea since mySchwarzenneger and Devito idea didn't catch on.

I like it Gary, simple and easy to understand and will display well on a small ribbon.

Perhaps a propeller on either side, just to rub the concept in a little more?

I'm really liking the Gemini idea, and also showing two props, but methinks it might be just too reminiscent of a HP 0-400 or a Gotha G V front profile.
