Hi Guys,
I'm not normally a winged builder and what I have built is brush painted and used for various wargaming ventures so I hope it's still ok to join.
If it is ..... the problem is really what to chose from
There's a bunch of half finished planes in boxes too but I'd have to hunt them out for pics.

I'll put my vote in for that Do335 on the top shelf, I am trying madly to resist the urge to start mine until I finish up these three..

I second that - bring on the Do 335. Alternatively the Lippish right next to it. That coulde an awesome buld as well.
In any case be careful of the spiders guarding the aircrafts

Thanks guys,
I was leaning to a 1/48th Hs129 that's in a box somewhere, got around to base painting some of the interior bits but that was it.
However ..... that Do335 has been sitting around almost since it was first released and probably deserves some TLC, and the Lippisch is just a pilot, some weapons and paint ... so I shall attempt to get both finished before Santa arrives !!!

Might be .....
Freezer actually, was a spare. One day the wife ventured out to the "studio" to plug it in as she wanted to store some extra meat. I heard her x-words and went into survival mode, keeping a low profile for a while. Still got most of my built planes in there though, and some tanks , and figures .....

The Dornier is interesting for sure, but that Beaufighter in there that should see the light of day as well!

Hey Jonathan,
Yeah it's definitely possible to finish the Beau, it's really just a repair (one of the props is broken) and some paintwork.
Before I thought about that I snapped this shot of likely candidates. It's entirely possible that I could them all knocked off with a fair wind and some luck. The Lippish is the most problematical as the canopies missing in action .....

The Lippish might get a canopy from simply bent thick plastic foil? Add the frame around it from plastic strips?

Great looking build. What did you use for thebdark sea blue? It has a green tint to it that i quite like.

Calling the Ho 229 done and before the hole I am going to drill in the end of the wing to hang from my classroom ceiling.

Hasegawa 1/48 Fw 190F-8Now that the Hellcat is out of the way, I've got this one sitting around waiting for paint. Anyone have advice on how to do decent mottling? There are some seams to clean up but this should be an easy project to finish if I have downtime working on my P-39 or P-80.

That F6 looks fantastic. Good luck with the 190. I ran into a few problems early in the build with the Hasegawa 190A-4, but maybe I'll get it finished too as part of this campaign! Not much to do really. The Ki-84 is moving on slowly, but nearly there too.

That Ki-84 looks sharp, Pete. What trouble did the 1909A-4 give you? My biggest problem was the cowl to fuselage join, its just not a good fit. The rest of the kit has gone together like a dream, with nearly perfect fit on the major components. The little inserts Hasegawa loves gave me fits as usual.

The ancient Revell Ta 152 in a completely ficticious marking scheme from the Aero Master decal sheet. Modeled gear up to hang from my classroom ceiling timeline of powered flight/planes Mr D thinks look cool.
The kit suffers from raised panel lines, which dont look too bad on the upper surfaces, but the lower is pretty obvious.
This makes for getting decals to snug down is a bit of a challenge.
I'm a sucker for stenciling, knowing full well that operational a/c are not kept in stencils very long.
Calling this one done, next up the 190 D with red/white airfield defense belly.

Hey PeeJay - yeah the cowl was a problem - I also had issues with the wing root, but persevered with it. Also just had a touch o the gremlins wit paint lifting, landing gear breaking etc!! They are both 1/48 btw.

I've made a little bit of progress on my Spitfir. I used Silly Putty to mask the green and haven't washed it off yet, so the oils from that are still visible.
