I will need to purchase an a/c for this campign, I am leaning towards either CAC Boomerang or Mirage. Need a little help with where to obtain decals for a Ronnie version of the Mirage.

I went to wikipedia to get a list of RAAF a/c and under helicopters it stated UH-1, but did elaborate on which models were used. Could anyone give a little more light on this subject.

Bub, I can't help with the UH-1. But I do have a Ertl/AMT 1/48 F-18A with RAAF decals available if you would like to have it.

Bob

I believe that the RAAF used the UH-1B/D and H model. Hope this helps!

OK! no "C"model HU1, but Mark has remedied my build to an AMT/Ertl F/A 18 in RAAF livery. Thanks Mark.

Hi Warren
A quick question would you allow RNZAF aircraft?
I was thinking specifically the A-4 Skyhawks which were Aussie bought by the RNZAF and flown out of Nowera, prior to the disbanding of the RNZAF fighter arm.

Just a thought.

Hi All.

As Jonathon said they need a campaign of their own, even though they haven't got an air force anymore..

Just over a month to go, time for a BUMP methinks !

I'm building this kit for this Campaign

A project that has been on my mind for a couple of years now, I am starting a Build Log which will cover 5 different 1/48 Boomerang kits, using this and the "National Pride" Campaign as motivation to get started.

Cheers, D

Oh oh, I had my eye on a Boomer too. 1/72 Airfix I think. Decals are beyond toasted, so I may just merge some random RAAF markings with the older plastic. No one will know they're for a different plane, will they?
