This campaign is APPROVED! It will run from September 1, 2014 through March 1, 2015. You can enlist here. Don't forget a lurvely sparkly ribbon!

Michael

Woohoo!!

Thanks for the quick work Michael.

September is good as it lets anyone who needs to obtain a kit, or some decals for an existing kit, heaps of time to get them.

Would anyone like to have a go at a ribbon?

Cheers
Warren

Hello all I am Going to be doing a Hurricane Mk 1 in RAAF Livery. Base kit is going to be a Tamiya Mk 1 Hurricane and the Decal Set is Shipping in From Austrailia. may do a little AM tweaking.

That's a Nice Ribbon Jessica

Of course you can Sascha. AM stuff is fine, in fact it is the only way you can do 90% of the aircraft the RAAF has used as RAAF decals in kits are not that common.

Cheers mate

Jessica, is there any way you can add a 'II' or '2' in their somewhere?

As requested, non-italic

And I'll throw in the numeral 2, which I think echoes the curve of Skippy's back nicely

First one looks great.. Just one more thing, can you make the colours of the roundel lighter? They are too dark but it may just be my monitor..

I think that's a relic of the original image I used. I'll try it with a lighter original. Stand by...

Okay, for some reason the system seemed to think that was a duplicate post. Let's try this again. Take 6, action!

Hmmm, not a lot of visible change there. Let's try them side by side and see whether there's a difference

It seems that at this small size the colours get really saturated. I'm going to have to hunt around to see whether there's a lighter RAAF roundel somewhere on the interwebs. Maybe an anti-flash version was tried way back?

Okay, this one's directly from the RAAF's webpage. If you can't trust them, who can you trust?

Welcome to the Campaign Phil!

A Do 24 would be a great choice. Bit different to most of the RAAF aircraft.

Cheers

OK you lot, you've suckered me in. I cant get the Vengeance fixed easily, and I haven't found an F-111C or the old Revell F-111A/B offering. but I did dredge up these two:

Don't worry about the DH-4, it's a loner box, This is what's inside:

Just gotta scare up a set of decals for the Boomerang..

Ok I'll play ball, this fits in with a theme I have running so I'll join with a 30 Squadron Beaufighter from the Bismarck Sea action March 1943. I'll be using the 1/48 Tamiya kit with Red Roo flat tail plane conversion and AM decals.

Also have a 1/48 Beaufort for 100 Squadron but that's vacform so the campaign would need to run for two years I think
