Howdy everyone.

I finally had time to start on my project, a Minicraft DC-4 in 1/144 scale.

So far no problems with fit. I havn't had to use any putty at all on the body.

Hi all

Lot of stuff getting built, Mike great looking NMF, Since a lot of us are doing metal skinned aircraft, I have a question.

What is your favorite clear coat to use over the NMF. Last time I used Future and it really seemed to dull mine down a bit.

You can certainly see the Dauntless' ancestry in it. It looks really good.

Mike, as Jessica said, you can see the Dauntless lines in it. Just looks a little under nourished :-)

Well, I finally finished my Douglas SBD-4 Build. For those that might be interested, here's the link to my Aeroscale Blog:

SBD-4 Dauntless

So I'm finally ready to start my Douglas Power Propeller Campaign entry. The only thing is that I was originally going to build the 1/48 GWH TBD-1 Devastator, but after just finishing the Dauntless, I Rather switch to the 1/48 scale Italeri Douglas A-20G Havoc. Just too many WW11 Navy builds in a row.

Well, I sat down at my workbench and tried to get into the A-20G Havoc build. Just wasn't grabbing my interest. Spent most of my time just tinkering with the various sprues. Ended up after a hour or so putting the kit back into my stash once again. Decided, that I really wanted to go with the GWH 1/48 scale TBD-1 Devastator.

Just started to cockpit, and it's an amazing kit. should be a great build.
