Any thoughts on the Hasegawa T-2 or F-1? How are the decals on the Blue Impulse T-2?

In 1/72 or 1/48?

The 1/72 kits are quite old and basic, the 1/48 kits are much more modern and typical Hasegawa. I don't have experience of their Blue Impulse decals.

Neil, hand painted, impressive; I'll bet one of the lining pens came in handy!

Neil, your photo at the beginning of this proposed campaign started me down this pathway. I found this at my LHS while looking at the JASDF T-2, F-1, and F-2. Turns out it was exactly what I wanted.

Someone did suggest a "rising sun" one, but that was used for the Rumble in the East Asian Sky campaign a while back.

Neil, I drew it at 500 by 200 and campaign ribbons are 50 by 20. Here it is scaled down.

Brent, thats a fine idea and well drawn. Easy to read when its larger, but scaled down it does loose its impact. This is always an issue in the small world.

Hello,

I have enlisted for this campaign. I normally build WWII aircraft, but for this one i want to do something different.
So if anyone can recommend me a good quarter scale kit of either the F-4 F-14 F-15 F-16 or F-18 that would be great.

Hasegawa for all of the above. However, there's a Phabulous Phantom that was just released by Academy which is miles better than the Hasegawa
