by: Sam Berry [ CAMOGIRL ]

1/72 B-24 decals from the War Birds series by Kits World showing Phil Brinkman's 'Zodiacs' of the 486th Bomb Group. This set is part two and includes
'Virgo'
'Sagittarius'
'Aquaria' ('Aquarius')
'Aires'
'Cancer'
'Pisces'

I opted only to pick up part two as it had my star sign included.

The decals are in good register and look thin enough to settle down and conform to the model without too much hassle.

The instruction sheet shows a side view of each aircraft, but it only shows the side the nose art was applied to. On the decal sheet you get the six nose arts and the tail codes.
The Squadron codes and stars and bars are available separately. Alternatively you could airbrush the codes and stars and bars to the model.
SUMMARY
Highs: Good quality decals in good register good details and reasonably priced.
Lows: I think some would prefer that the squadron codes were included with the nose arts and tail codes rather than having to shell out for further decal sheets to allow the codes to be added to the kit.
Verdict: Overall a good decal sheet although I feel some may feel let down by having to purchase the squadron codes separately.
