the review
There are three sets available for this model:-
U72-160 Engine exhausts and intakes
U72-159 Main undercarriage leg covers
U72-158 Main Undercarriage Wheel bay details.

All of the sets are provided in zip lock bags with a cardboard cover stapled over the top. No instructions are provided for kits 159 and 160, but to be honest if you needed instructions for these, you probably shouldn't be thinking about using resin parts on your model.

All three contain parts in a very nice grey resin, no flash or air bubbles are evident on the samples sent

U72-158 - Main Undercarriage Wheel bay details - £7.50
This set contains 20 pieces of resin to add detail to the wheel wells, that is just not there in the original Airfix kit, the sides of the wells for instance and also includes replacement undercarriage covers. These are the same thickness as the original kit parts, but have finer detail on the inside of the covers – see the comparison Photo.

U72-159 - Main undercarriage leg covers - £2.40
This set contains just the undercarriage covers that are in kit 158, should one not want to do the full detailing of the wheel well.

U72-160 - Engine exhausts and intakes - £3.99
This contains 10 pieces of resin to replace the air intakes and exhausts on the kit – parts e11, e8 and c11. All of them have nicely cast hollow bits, which will make a noticeable difference to your completed model. See comparison photos for details.

conclusion
In conclusion these are very nice aftermarket parts for a very nice kit of this plane, and will certainly make a difference from building straight out of the box. Value for money wise these are no brainers if resin bits are your thing.

My only complaint is in regard to the packaging, the casting blocks have very small attachment areas to the parts – which is good, but out of the 32 parts in the three review samples 4 parts had broken off the blocks by the time I got them, slightly more protection would be nice.
SUMMARY
Highs: Nice detail.
Lows: Packaging as the parts can come off the casting blocks.
Verdict: Will improve areas of the Airfix kit which lacks detail in some areas.
