Two Mikes have just released these resin replacement ejection seats for the Two Bobs 1/48 T-2 Buckeye kit. Each set contains two beautifully cast ejector seats. Although the released photo has depth of field problems [Two Mikes will release more photos soon] the quality of the castings are still obvious. Airscale have developed decal upgrade that includes a stunning representation of the real aircraft’s instruments to enable you to replace the kit panel insert, and enhance the kit radio parts with an authentic scale alternative. Airscale aer to release a set of decals not only for the instruments, but also for the radio transmitter and receiver.

Zvezda have published on their website sprue images of their forthcoming release of the Su-27 as used by Russian Air Forces aerobatic display team, the Russian Knights. The sprues include some missiles, which hints at future releases in a more military guise. I must admit I was surprised when I did a quick check of Zvezda releases to find they have not released a Su-27 before!
No release date or mention of price so far, but it will be certainly be another release I will be looking forward to.

Carrying on with Rowan's good news for Luftwaffe WWII modellers, Italeri have announced news of the future release of a JU -87 B2 Stuka. This appears to be a new tooling and not a rehash of the Hasegawa kit as was rumoured. On their website are images of the sprue's and possible markings. Italeri will also include a Junkers Jumo engine with the kit, which is an added bonus for the super detailers. Sprue's look very promising from the photos, but I will leave you Luftwaffe experten to make up your own minds.

Great Wall Hobby have built a fine reputation for their military kits, and I was very impressed by the company's useful Lion Roar 1:48 WW2 aircraft generic detail sets and modelling accessories. Now they are all set to make a bold move into aircraft kit production - and their first kit is a subject that's long been on Luftwaffe modellers' wish-lists as a mainstream kit - the Focke-Wulf Fw 189.

RVHP are to release a conversion for the US Navies Grumman C-2 Greyhound. The C-2 Greyhound is a twin-engine cargo aircraft, designed to carry mail and supplies to and from aircraft carriers of the United States Navy. Its primary mission is Carrier Onboard Delivery [COD]. The C-2 Greyhound, a derivative of the Grumman E-2 Hawkeye, shares wings and power plants with the E-2 Hawkeye, but has a widened fuselage with a rear loading ramp. The first of two prototypes flew in 1964 and production began the following year. It replaced the piston-engined Grumman C-1 Trader, itself a derivative of the E-1 Tracker, in the COD role. The original C-2A aircraft were overhauled to extend their operational life in 1973.
