Tamiya are going to release a 1/32nd North American P-51D Mustang.

After releasing the Japanese Zero and British Spitfire series in 1/32nd, Tamiya continues with the North American P-51D Mustang.
The kit features detail inside and out, with accurately reproduced wings, a super-detailed Packard Merlin V-1650-7 engine with removable (via magnets) engine cowl panels, a highly-detailed cockpit, detailed internal structure of the oil cooler radiators and ducts, highly detailed wheel wells and landing gear, and open-able gun bays on the wings with great detail inside.
Options available, such as your choice of four rear-view mirrors, two styles of drop tanks, vertical stabilizer with or without the dorsal fin fillet, and a choice of three marking variations. Also included are two figures, one standing and one seated, plus photo-etched metal detail parts. The rudder, elevators, ailerons, and flaps are all movable. Tires are solid rubber.
The kit is expected to be released in July.
