Sword have released images of the plastic and resin parts for the P-47N in 1/72 scale. Hopefully it will be released in the very near future.
Plastic parts include separate cooling flaps, two different types of wheel hub and two different types of external fuel tanks. There is an interesting breakdown of the wing and fuselage join, it appears to be butt joined although there is a partial wing spar to hold the wing in place. Resin parts include both banks of the radial engine, very nice looking undercarriage bay, cockpit walls, pilot seat with cast harnesses and two sets of guns set into a section of the leading edge. Nigel [lampie] informs me that the artwork shown on the box cover features "Chautauqua" of the 463rdFS, 507thFG.

Ref no: SW 72039.
Price for this kit is to be confirmed.
