Revell have released three 1/32nd Photo etch sets for their kits.
The P.E sets are for three Revell models in 1/32nd scale.
A Revell plastic model kit is visually enhanced by photo-etched parts, as parts made by the customary injection moulding process cannot be made with such fine filigree detail. The metal parts are easy to use following clearly explained assembly instructions. This set contains the most important components for refining the finish of a Revell plastic model kit.

The challenge with these upgrades is finding someone who carries them. Why not get the Eduard sets?
FEB 06, 2011 - 07:35 AM
They are the Eduard sets, and they are cheaper: Hannants sell the two Eduard Typhoon frets for £12 each, they sell the same ones together under the Revell label for £17. The AR 196 set is confusingly priced, as the Revell etch set RRP is £5 more than the kit! Interestingly, Eduard have not announced the same full set, but instead are leaving that to Revell, and are instead doing a set of just seats belts for the kit (not yet available).
