HpH Models' resin kit of the Arado Ar 196, along with its launch catapult which is sold separately, has had Kriegsmarine enthusiasts drooling ever since the first sight of the in-box shots.
Now HpH Models have released photos of the Arado under construction, sat on the catapult - and it's clear just what an incredible model the finished combo will be!

HpH Models are steadily building up an impressive range of mixed-media kits:

Avia B 534 1/32 ... resin model kit
L-29 Delfin 1/32 ... resin model kit available in 2 options:
A: Czechoslovakia camouflage, Iraq silver, Iraq camouflage
B: Slovakia camouflage, USSR silver, Russia silver
Arado Ar 196 1/32 ... resin model kit
Boat catapult for Ar 196 1/32 ... resin model kit
Tupolev Tu 154M 1/72 ... composite model kit
L-29A Delfin acrobat 1/32... resin model kit
Il-62 1/72 .. composite model kit

Due in the New Year are a number of new kits, including one to really get WW2 modellers waiting with baited breath - a 1:32 P-63 Kingcobra! Make sure you save some of your Christmas money for this beauty!

That looks very nice, but at what price! i think i would like to see them sell the catapult on its own, and don't forget Revell will bring a 1/32nd Ar 196 out sometime soon, so it could be "pays your money takes your choice"

Is the catapult available in the States? I have the Revell kit, but it would make more sense to display it on the catapult.
