Herpa announces, as part of their huge Wings series, the release of an N scale (1/160) Junkers Ju-52/3m of the Amicale Jean Baptiste Salis Museum.
The French foundation, named after the WWI aviation hero, is committed to preserving historic aircraft and maintains an aircraft museum near Paris. Many vintage planes have since been restored to airworthy status; thanks to the support of EADS, the same was possible for this Ju-52/3m featuring an almost original German Wehrmacht livery. It was released 25 June 2010.
