Twobobs decals have released a couple of decal sheets to apply stencils to your AIM-9 missiles.

48-172 AIM-9/AIM-120 CATM/ACMI Markings.
These markings are for inert missile CATM [Captive Air Training Missiles] in 1/48 that are often seen during training mission on modern fighter aircraft. The AIM-9 Sidewinder needs no introduction, but the AIM-120 otherwise known as the slammer and 'fox 3' the latter name is synonymous with movies involving jet fighters! The ACMI pods are the missile like, but are without fins, these relay data on the flight characteristics of the aircraft to the ground. There are four complete sets of markings for each version of CATM.
The set is completed by six CUBIC pod markings and four ARDS pod markings.
