Gary Marples of Suisoft Ltd. has announced a new and enhanced version of Kitbase, the database application for Scale Modellers. This is a free update for existing owners.
The press release reads:

"A major update to Suisoft's KitBase is now available. KitBase records kits in a structured way so that you can keep track of them using interactive filtering, sorting and printed reports. The new release is free to existing owners and includes major enhancements:

- As well as Owned kits, Wanted, Sold, Traded, Gifted and Scrapped kits can now be recorded using a simple 'Status' system
- Customisable views - specify columns and sort orders and quickly switch between saved views
- Many new columns, including Trader, Kit Media, dates and cash values

The updated version or a free trial can be downloaded from: http://www.suisoft.co.uk/kitbase/download.htm.
KitBase will run on any reasonably modern PC (Windows XP or above).

A license for the full product is still only 14.99 GBP (29.99 USD). There are no plans to change owners for updates in the foreseeable future."
